Yes, all of our hotel guests’ receive complimentary access to Goodlife Fit 4 Less located beside the hotel.
Retro Suites Hotel offers complimentary parking located at the West end of our buildings.
Retro Suites is not a pet-friendly hotel, however service animals are of course welcome.
All of our guest rooms are non-smoking. Please note there is a penalty fee of $300 for smoking in the room.
Early check-ins are based on availability; to guarantee an early check-in we recommend booking the night prior and letting the hotel know to check-in the reservation and hold the reservation for your early arrival. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to check availability and to update us on your expected arrival time.

The buildings that encompass the Retro Suites Hotel have undergone a series of extensive renovations with an emphasis placed on preserving their original character and history. The block has some of the finest examples of Victorian architecture in the city. T.J. Rutley designed the George Stephens hardware store in 1888. The staircase in the hotel front lobby dates back to 1895, when it was part of the Merrill Hotel. For additional information please check out Art + History on our website.

The continued health and well-being of our guests, staff, and our families is of utmost importance to us. Retro Suites has always taken great pride in our high standard of cleanliness. With the current pandemic, we have added additional enhancements to our services and protocols to ensure you are safe and comfortable during your stay with us.
Chatham Kent does have a mask by-law in place, so everyone is required to wear a mask in the public areas of the hotel. Masks can be removed in your suite (your home away from home).
We have proudly prepared for your arrival by sanitizing and disinfecting the property and the amenities available to you to meet and exceed published guidelines. We will continue to make further enhancements to meet changing demands.
All Guest rooms will remain vacant for a period of time between visits, and each guest will be provided with sanitized, single-use keys at check-in.
All non-essential items such as decorative pillows, notepads, pens, flatware, silverware, and glassware have been removed from suites but are available upon request 24 hours a day.
We have added 20 hand sanitization stations throughout the property.
